I have always been amazed by the web. In fact, internet has become an important part of my daily life. I shop, bank, pay my bills, and learn the latest breaking news on the net. In fact I acquired all my textbooks this semester all through the net and saved a brundle! I always say that internet makes the world 'so close yet so far'. You can chat with your friends instantly even though they could be scattered all over the world.
Even though I worked in the information industry as first as a computer programmer and later a database administrator for a long time and had the opportunity to be introduced to the web browser many years ago, I always took an passive position towards this amasing new technology. This semester I determined to get to the bottom of it. I want to know everything under the pretty cover of the homepage.
I am taking 2 classes this semester. It is quite a heavy schedule for me in addition to working full time. My other class is Oracle Forms & Reports on Germantown campus. This is more related to my job as a DBA.
